Connected almost always and everywhere on land with the MissionLink

The MissionLink in Iridium's Certus data network connects from Antarctica to the Arctic with the Internet or your corporate network via VPN. Due to Iridium's satellite connection you are not bound to the direct line of sight to the equator, but can also establish a network connection on the north side (northern hemisphere) of a mountain as long as the Iridium satellite is above you. This is also true in deep valleys or canyons. This would also be the case in northern countries where geostationary satellites are almost unreachable.

The Thales MissionLink is characterized by its special robustness and high-quality workmanship of all components, for example, plug connections, resistance to environmental influences, mounting option in vehicles, user-friendly user interface and servicing. The high-quality and lightweight antenna optimized for the Iridum Certus network has no moving parts inside and can be mounted with magnetic feet or fixed on e.g. vehicle roofs. The terminal and the antenna are certified according to MIL-STD -810G for the temperature range of -30C - +55C. To provide teams with Internet access, up to 12 terminals can be connected to the MissionLink via WLAN. Likewise, 3 LAN ports with PoE are available and a WAN port can be used for cellular connections.

The MissionLink can be operated with 12 volts DC.
